The Moose Newtown, Bar and Restaurant Review

Bubbles and Squeak: review

The Moose sits on our favourite end of King Street, the St Peters end, just near Alice Street.

Let’s start by saying that ‘The Moose’ is very small, more calf than moose really. There are but a few tables strewn around the substantial bar.
But what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for with the well thought out wine, cocktail & beer list and the really tasty grazing plates.

Bar Zine: review

The décor here is funky in a Newtown way: there’s red wallpaper and black tiles against one wall and, considering it’s Saturday night, the overall
atmosphere is relaxed and easy going, with the other seats filled with locals quietly chatting.
